About This Campaign
Community
Imagine a fun, lighthearted global game which anyone could play and would only tug on positive, happy and natural emotions we as human beings want to share with each other. Imagine you, your child or even co-worker intentionally making the world a better place by partaking in a game of whereby the primary intention was to make someone else smile and happy.
Game for Humanity was originally released as a card game, and has now joined forces with Brownie Points to bring you a light-hearted campaign packed with opportunities to do simple good deeds from anywhere, and for anyone (yourself included!). Doing good does not only mean volunteering work or making donations. It's just as rewarding to do quick, easy and fun good deeds that has a positive ripple effect on your community.
Pick a random act of kindness, then nominate someone else and let's pay it forward.

Put down your phone for 2 hours today
It was so nice to disconnect for a while. Being constantly connected drives my anxiety and just being in the moment and spending mindful time with family is what it's all about!

Say hello to everyone today
This was a great experience. Some people looked strangely at me, but everyone greeted back
Make someone smile
In my opinion I smiled and made an effort with everybody so far today. Today is still not over. So it’s a bit difficult to give an accurate estimate. I would say I had lengthy discussions with 10 people I have never met before. I smiled a lot.
Do not complain about anything for an entire day
feedback page definitely needs to highlight what the deeds are that we are tracking :)
Become a mentor for a week
A lot of the youth unemployed are being ripped off by so called 'education/skill advancing institutions'. They end up paying a fee, what might not seem like a lot of money but it is to these individuals, to institutions that claim to provide these candidates with some sort of skill that they can offer the labour market within South Africa. There is no support provide on preparing an excellent CV, no interview training, etc. In most instances, candidates are then required to have experience - a lot more needs to be done wrt. to engaging training organisations to improve their value add to these learners, and the learners most definitely need to be connected with career mentors - the network of knowledge and experience needs to expand for improved transformation in South Africa to occur. Perhaps an extension to the 'mentor' initiative.
Drink 2L of water today
It's difficult to come down from the hectic day... playing calming music is just the thing that helps me fall asleep.
Enjoy a cup of green tea
It was surprisingly awesome to start my day off with green tea instead of my usual coffee. This cause didn't have a host, so that question is a bit confusing
