Answer questions from students for career advice
The tag line for this one is simple: "Volunteer to answer questions from students who want to be you when they grow up."
CareerVillage is a community where students can get free personalized career advice from real-life professionals.
Essentially, kids submit questions about various career paths to Career Village, and you'll get notified if there's a question you might be able to answer. It's like a virtual career fair you can participate in whenever you have time.

Help build South Africa's biggest nonprofit database
South Africa currently has over 240,000 registered nonprofit organisations (NPOs) and over 25,000 public benefit organisations (PBOs). Many of them cannot be found online.
We are trying to make the invisible visible by curating the biggest database of South African social good organisations and allowing people to support them.
How it works:
1) Sign up - Click the 'Volunteer' button above to sign up to Brownie Points and/or commit
2) Activate account - If you are new to Brownie Points, you will get an email to confirm your email
3) Create organisation - Head over to your dashboard (https://browniepoints.africa/dashboard), click on 'Organisations' (left menu) and then click 'Add organisation' (top right). Fill in some relevant details and click 'Create organisation'. The admin/owner of the organisation will be invited to join and get access to their own profile and dashboard.
4) BONUS: Create a cause - Create a cause on behalf of your invited social good organisation to rally support for them.

Become a digital research volunteer
Zooniverse is a platform for people-powered research that literally wouldn’t be possible (or practical) without the help of online volunteers. Spend as much or as little time as you’d like identifying endangered animals, classifying galaxy systems, or transcribing Shakespearean manuscripts.
The Zooniverse is the world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research. This research is made possible by volunteers — more than a million people around the world who come together to assist professional researchers. Our goal is to enable research that would not be possible, or practical, otherwise. Zooniverse research results in new discoveries, datasets useful to the wider research community, and many publications.
You don’t need any specialised background, training, or expertise to participate in any Zooniverse projects. We make it easy for anyone to contribute to real academic research, on their own computer, at their own convenience.
You’ll be able to study authentic objects of interest gathered by researchers, like images of faraway galaxies, historical records and diaries, or videos of animals in their natural habitats. By answering simple questions about them, you’ll help contribute to our understanding of our world, our history, our Universe, and more.
With our wide-ranging and ever-expanding suite of projects, covering many disciplines and topics across the sciences and humanities, there's a place for anyone and everyone to explore, learn and have fun in the Zooniverse.
To volunteer with us:
1) Go to the Projects page - https://www.zooniverse.org/projects

3) and get started!
