WHERE DO THEY MEET? Just to the right of the Sea Point Pools. Not exactly rocket science – if you face the sea – the pools will be on your left and to your right – at the 5 or 6 stairs that lead down to the very start of the promenade – that is where the team meets…. There where they sell the ice creams and rent the bikes etc. It’s called the “Broken Baths Beach”… HOW TO GET THERE? Take the sea road from Green Point Circle – head towards Camps Bay – pass the Winchester Mansions Hotel on your left – and then a few clicks up – on the right. Park right there. SO WHO HEADS THIS UP? Super mom and general all round legend – Justine Stafford WHAT TIME DO THEY MEET? This is our only afternoon cleanup – 3pm WHY IN THE AFTERNOON? Cos there are a group of cool kids that join and some of them have swimming and tennis training in the mornings. Besides – why not ‪#‎bedifferent THINGS TO DO AFTERWARDS? Dude – loads – but you will probably wanna chill out on the grassy parks in the area after a leka ice cream. You are guaranteed on the best sundowner on the Atlantic Sea Board…just no vino – otherwise ul get in groot kak. BEST THING ABOUT THE SEA POINT BEACH CLEANUP? Watching the group of kids that join the cleanup attack the beach with sooo much enthusiasm – its contagious! And then the ice cream afterwards! Definitely bring kids to this cleanup!
