The communities we work within, Dunoon and Wolwerivier, are always at the forefront of our minds and it is detrimental to us that we do not forget them during this uncertain time. Throughout normal operations, SAVE helps to provides two hot meal a day to around 1100 children. These are now 1100 children who (with the closure of all schools and ECD centres in South Africa) will not be receiving these meals. We are working together to explore all options in getting food parcels to families, a meal to the children of Wolwerivier and ensuring that they are kept on nutritious meals. As we know nutrition is extra important at a time like this.
