Donate R67 (or more) for personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist our Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres to safely re-open.
This campaign follows an announcement from the Department of Social Development stating that ECD centres will need to comply with health and safety regulations before they will be considered ready to re-open.
ECD centres, especially the unregistered centres, are already under tremendous financial strain after months of not receiving any fees from parents. They are desperate to re-open, not only to receive some form of income again but also to care for the children. The children are in a vulnerable position with parents returning to work.
Many ECD centres do not have the means to purchase the necessary PPE kits and need our financial support in order to re-open (or may face permanent closure).
Please consider supporting this cause and allow ECD centres to get back on their feet! Help us spread the word by sharing this cause with friends and family.
TARGET: The HomeChoice Development Trust is currently working with over 100 ECD centres and playgroups. We aim to support all the ECD's needing assistance. With a comprehensive PPE kit costing roughly R4000 – R6000 per centre, our total cause target amount is R200 000.
