Donate food to homeless shelters in Durban
The RazAli Foundation works with a variety of organisations that deal with homelessness, including the Denis Hurley Centre and the eThekwini Municipality as well as a host of businesses who provide cooked and uncooked food.
You too can help by donating.
Any donations of perishable and non-perishable foods and clothing can be dropped off at our offices at 52 Hunter Street, South Beach, Durban.
Description
Founded by Mr Raz Ali, the owner of BOSS-UIP a security company, that is committed to ending the crime and grime around the Durban city centre and beyond, the Foundation aims to provide 60 000 meals to people in homeless shelters every month.
Working with a variety of other non-governmental departments and the business sector, the RazAli Foundation provided around 1000 meals a day to people during the month of May.
The RazAli Foundation hopes to increase their meal distribution scheme to not only shelters but others in need with the ultimate goal of ending hunger in our beautiful city and providing dignity to the city’s homeless citizens.
This commitment, while born during the Covid-19 pandemic, will continue for years to come.
As a society, we can no longer turn a blind eye to homelessness and if we all come together for the sake of humanity we can make a difference.
