Environment
WHERE DO WE MEET?
At Eden on the Bay on the wooden walkway leading onto the beach, opposite the Cabrinha South Africa and Moyo Restaurant.
WHO HEADS THIS CLEAN UP?
Bianca Peace – you wont find a more passionate lady that loves the environment. She walks the walk and she talks the talk.
Bianca runs PACT – Passionate About Cape Town – check out their page on Facebook
WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
10am
HOW TO GET THERE?
From Cape Town – R27 North, turn left at Dolphin Beach Hotel – go for another 3 odd kms – turn left at the 1st circle after the hill – Eden on the Bay is on your right.
From Tableview – head down Blouberg towards the beach. At the circle on the beachfront – hang a right – carry on. 1st circle after the hill – left – then right.
THINGS TO DO AFTERWARDS?
Too many restaurants to mention. Support any one of them. Shopping for mom at Pick n Pay. Rent a surfboard or SUP at one of the surf shops. Catch a walk to Blue Peter or Onse Huisie.
Take a drive to Eerste Steen and have a braai/picnic there.
Or take your own and picnic on the grass there! Just chips the wet spots on the grass smile emoticon
BEST THING ABOUT THE BIG BAY BEACH CLEANUP
Do the Big Bay parkrun park run before – keep fit. Coffee from Eden Cafe
The views of Roben Island, the restaurants in the area and going for a surf afterwards. Catching up with al old friend that you haven’t seen in ages or taking a cool photo at the giant yellow frame (with table mountain in the background)
