During the current uncertain and rapidly evolving global situation caused by the novel coronavirus, our mission and vision for residents of the Mabopane township remains the same. After 9 years of dedicated community upliftment work, made possible by our loyal donors and partners, Lesedi la Batho has established a well-known centre of hope, support and resources in our community. We strive to act as a channel of support from those with more access to those less fortunate – and believe this role is now more important than ever.
The global pandemic will impact South Africa’s already weakened economy, resulting in job losses, pay cuts and reduced commerce – and even harder times for families already living on the edge. We’re reaching out to our greater support network to help us to be there for these families when our doors reopen and surely the need will be greater than ever.
Help us provide a financial cushion for those less fortunate who will be devastatingly impacted by the economic aftermath of the Coronovirus crisis, by making a valuable contribution to the Lesedi la Batho Coronavirus Relief Fund.
